Groundwork Luton & South Bedfordshire supports communities in need, working with partners to help improve the quality of people's lives, their prospects and potential and the places where they live work and play.
Our vision is of a society of sustainable communities which are vibrant, healthy and safe, which respect the local and global environment and where individuals and enterprise prosper.
We have been involved in projects in the area since 2004, but through a partnership between Groundwork, Bedfordshire County Council (as was), South Bedfordshire District Council (as was) and Luton Borough Council we were able to formalise our presence in Luton and South Bedfordshire in 2006. Following recent local government changes this partnership now comprises Groundwork, Central Bedfordshire Council and Luton Borough Council
